Volunteer Role: Information Tabling Ambassador

Overview
Join FareStart as an Information Tabling Ambassador at Bite of Seattle! This is a fun, public-facing role where you’ll help share our mission, engage with the community, and inspire others to get involved. Volunteers play a key role in representing FareStart and helping us connect with new supporters.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage event attendees in a friendly, approachable manner
- Share information about FareStart’s mission, programs, and impact
- Talk about current volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved
- Distribute branded materials and swag
- Answer basic questions or direct people to appropriate resources
- Assist with booth setup and breakdown as needed
Qualifications
- Comfortable speaking with the public and representing FareStart
- Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic
- Able to communicate clearly and stay on message
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience with FareStart or outreach is helpful but not required
Time Commitment
- Shifts will be approximately 3–4 hours (exact times TBD)
