Overview
Join FareStart as an Information Tabling Ambassador at Bite of Seattle! This is a fun, public-facing role where you’ll help share our mission, engage with the community, and inspire others to get involved. Volunteers play a key role in representing FareStart and helping us connect with new supporters.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage event attendees in a friendly, approachable manner
  • Share information about FareStart’s mission, programs, and impact
  • Talk about current volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved
  • Distribute branded materials and swag
  • Answer basic questions or direct people to appropriate resources
  • Assist with booth setup and breakdown as needed

Qualifications

  • Comfortable speaking with the public and representing FareStart
  • Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic
  • Able to communicate clearly and stay on message
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous experience with FareStart or outreach is helpful but not required

Time Commitment

  • Shifts will be approximately 3–4 hours (exact times TBD)
