OVERVIEW
FareStart invites local chefs to work with our students to prepare a 3-course meal for our guests. All
proceeds and donations from Guest Chef Night go back into our program and fund student services
and training. Volunteers fulfill a variety of service roles for the evening.
DUTIES
• Coordinate with the Guest Chef to ensure orders leave the kitchen correctly and
completely.
• Watch ticket times and communicate with the chef to maintain proper service standards.
• Keep expo line clear of debris.
• Wipe down service line with sanitizer and remove old tickets.
• End of Shift: Restock ALL service ware on and under line, clear all cups, garbage, and
recycling from the line and wipe down with sanitizer, assist chef with volunteer meal.

• Thursday 5:00pm-10:00pm
• 700 Virginia St. Seattle WA 98101
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 21 + years of age
• Do not volunteer if sick / FareStart is a mask friendly environment
• Valid Food Worker’s Card submitted on volunteer portal prior to shift.
• Must agree to adhere to volunteer expectations
• Attire: Sturdy, closed toed, non-slip shoes, no exposed underarms or midriffs, skirts or
shorts no shorter than 6 inches above the knee.
