OVERVIEW
Guest Chef Night pairs premier local chefs with FareStart students to create a three course meal served by volunteer community members. All revenue and donations from Guest Chef Night support FareStart's job training and placement programs.
DUTIES
• Maintain server section, manages 2-4 community volunteers (servers), records meal selections, oversees guest satisfaction and ticket times.
• Inform community group volunteers (servers) of their assigned tables, provide training and supervision of servers.
• Ensure tables are fully set, water pitchers, sugar caddies, and coffee creamers are prepared.
• Maintain a high level of customer service including making sure water glasses are refilled, wait times are short, and tables are pre-bussed before next course is served.
• End of Service: Ensure tables are empty and wiped down, sweep carpet in assigned section with Hoky,
assist with breakdown of mezzanine and PDR.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 21 + years of age
• Class 12 MAST WA alcohol servers permit, submitted on volunteer portal prior to shift and shown when
checking in for the evening.
• Valid Food Worker’s Card submitted on volunteer portal prior to shift.
• Must agree to adhere to FareStart volunteer alcohol server policy and procedures
• Must agree to adhere to volunteer expectations
• Attire: Sturdy, closed toed, non-slip shoes, no exposed underarms or midriffs, skirts or shorts no shorter than 6 inches above the knee.
