OVERVIEW
Guest Chef Night Hosts help create a welcoming and organized experience for guests attending FareStart’s signature dinner events. Volunteers greet guests upon arrival, check them in using an iPad registration system, and coordinate with host runners to escort guests to their assigned tables.
This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy customer service, hospitality, and engaging with guests in a fast-paced event environment.
ACTIVITIES
· Welcome guests warmly as they arrive for Guest Chef Night
· Check guests in using an iPad-based guest list or registration system
· Confirm reservations and answer basic event questions
· Communicate table assignments to host runners
· Coordinate guest flow to ensure smooth seating and timely service
· Maintain a professional, friendly, and organized front-of-house atmosphere
· Support FareStart staff with additional guest service tasks as needed

4:30PM-8:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS
· Friendly and professional communication skills
· Comfortable using an iPad or basic technology
· Ability to stay organized in a busy event setting
· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
· Previous hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not required
