Join FareStart as a Volunteer Ambassador and help share our mission with the community at an exciting Tilted Thunder Roller Derby event! This is a fun and energetic opportunity to engage with attendees, raise awareness about FareStart's impact, and inspire others to get involved.
What You'll Do
- Represent FareStart at a designated table/booth during the event
- Engage with attendees and share key information about FareStart’s mission and programs
- Answer general questions about volunteering, dining, and ways to support FareStart
- Distribute materials and encourage people to sign up for more information
- Help set up and break down the table display
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with new people
- Passion for FareStart’s mission and community impact
- Ability to stand for extended periods and engage in a lively environment
- Previous experience with FareStart is a plus, but not required
Additional Information
- Comfortable attire and closed-toe shoes recommended
- Training and talking points will be provided in advance
