Overview
FareStart is looking for a volunteer to support a short-term video project focused on creating engaging, short form content. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys storytelling and can work from script to final cut.
Tasks
- Film one 60-second and one 90-second scripted video at FareStart Restaurant (or another studio location, if preferred)
- Capture clear video and audio using your own equipment.
- Edit the videos and blend them with pre-recorded b-roll (preferred), or share audio clips by Jan 12.
Qualifications
- Access to video and audio recording equipment
- Video editing experience, including voice overlay
- Experience adding voice subtitle captioning (bottom of screen)
- Ability to meet a short project timeline
- Able to submit a portfolio of prior work for review
Time Commitment
- Project window: January 5-23
- Filming and editing scheduled collaboratively within that timeframe
